Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to support a large-scale SAP Transformation Program. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing the integrated program schedule, ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, vendors, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise program scheduling within complex environments, preferably involving SAP transformations, and will play a critical role in enabling successful program delivery.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Program Scheduling & Planning
• Develop and maintain the integrated master schedule across all SAP program workstreams (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, HR, Infrastructure, Data, Testing, Change & Training).
• Define scheduling standards, governance processes, and baseline plans.
• Ensure alignment with program milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
Schedule Governance & Control
• Monitor schedule performance, track critical paths, risks, and dependencies.
• Conduct schedule quality checks and ensure adherence to PMO standards.
• Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
Stakeholder Coordination
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Project Managers, and Functional Leads to gather schedule inputs and validate timelines.
• Facilitate scheduling workshops and dependency mapping sessions.
• Coordinate with external system integrators and vendors.
Reporting & Insights
• Produce weekly/monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
• Highlight key risks, bottlenecks, and upcoming milestones.
• Support governance forums (Steering Committees, PMO reviews).
Tools & Methodologies
• Maintain scheduling tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
• Integrate schedules with project management tools (JIRA, SAP Activate methodology artifacts, etc.).
Technical Expertise Requirements
• Advanced skills in MS Project / Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling tools.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and delivery lifecycle.
• Experience managing complex interdependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Accuracy and reliability of the integrated master schedule.
• Effective management of critical path and dependencies.
• Timely identification and mitigation of scheduling risks.
• Stakeholder satisfaction and program alignment.
Essential:
• 8+ years of experience in project/program scheduling within large-scale transformation programs.
• Proven experience working on SAP transformation or ERP implementation programs.
• Prior experience in transport, logistics, rail, or infrastructure sectors (preferred for Aurizon context).
ADDITIONAL
• Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince2) or equivalent.
• Experience in PMO setup or governance roles.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks within SAP programs.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-vendor environment.
