Your role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in BMC Remedy ITSM, Java development, and Microsoft SQL Server 2016 within a Windows Server 2012 environment. The role involves designing, developing, customizing, and supporting enterprise-level applications and ITSM solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in Remedy development and integrations, along with strong backend programming and database management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using BMC Remedy (ITSM/Helix platform)
• Customize Remedy forms, workflows, filters, escalations, and Active Links
• Develop and maintain backend services and integrations using Java (J2EE/Spring preferred)
• Manage and optimize database operations in Microsoft SQL Server 2016
• Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause resolution for production issues
• Develop APIs and integration services (REST/SOAP) connecting Remedy with other enterprise systems
• Work on deployments, upgrades, and environment maintenance on Windows Server 2012
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application support, and business stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

Required
Core Technologies

• BMC Remedy ITSM Development (Forms, Workflow, AR System)
• Java / J2EE (Spring, Hibernate preferred)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2016 (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Performance tuning)
• Windows Server 2012 administration and troubleshooting

Integration & Tools

• REST / SOAP Web Services
• APIs and middleware integration
• Version control tools (Git, SVN)
• ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)

Nice to Have

• Experience with BMC Helix Innovation Suite
• Knowledge of Linux environments
• Exposure to DevOps tools (Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines)
• Scripting (PowerShell, Shell scripting)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in software development and Remedy platform
• Certifications in BMC Remedy or ITIL (preferred)
