Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP FICO Consultant
As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client's and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
- This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
- This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only. In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
Lead the configuration, enhancement, and support of SAP FI and CO modules:
Projects system experience.
• FI: General Ledger, Account Payable, Account Receivable, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting
• CO: Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, CO-PA, Product Costing
• Analyze and resolve complex business process and system issues in a production environment.
• Collaborate closely with finance, accounting, and business teams to gather and document requirements.
Standup & Health Check
- Review overnight Functional batch jobs (success, runtime, exceptions).
- Triage tickets: missing idocs, data mismatches, shared component conflicts, substitution handling, rework flows.
- Align with PP, Project Systems, OTC, MM/Procurement, and ABAP/Fiori teams on priorities.
- Design/Config & Impact Analysis
- Adjust Configuration settings
- Analyze impact on workflow.
- Draft or update functional specs for enhancements
- Cross-Functional Working Session

• Coordinate with procurement on shared components across projects and priority decisions.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ: $94,000 to $131,600
In Washington, DC: $85,700 to $124,600
