Lead Mainframe Developer
Infosys is seeking Lead Mainframe Developers. In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX/Raleigh, NC/Hartford, CT/Birmingham, ALor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

- Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, File Handling, CA-7, CICS and Mainframe tool
- Experience in Production Support
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe technologies
- Hands on Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, File Handling, CA-7, CICS and Mainframe tools
- Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for mainframe development
- Leverages advanced/proven experience in the mainframe programming language across large and complex implementations and systems
- Should be able to read the code and create design specifications
- Experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects
- Architectural experience - designing and solutioning applications
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
- Experience in Financial Services domain, preferred Payments, Digital banking etc..
- Experience in mainframe modernization and reverse engineering
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
