Lead Java with Splunk
Infosys is seeking a Lead Java with Splunk-This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area.

- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

- At least 4 years of experience in Java Support with expertise in Splunk and Dynatrace is responsible for maintaining and enhancing Java-based applications, ensuring their optimal performance, and utilizing monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution.
- Experience in providing ongoing support for Java applications, including debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Experience in utilizing Splunk and Dynatrace to monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations. Configure alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and address potential issues.
- Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and quality assurance, to deploy updates, patches, and new features.
- Experience in maintaining comprehensive documentation of support processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure continuity.
- Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with various departments to achieve common goals.
- Familiarity with other monitoring and logging tools, such as AppDynamics, New Relic, or ELK stack, is a plus.
- Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation purposes.
