Lead Java Full Stack Developer

Infosys is looking for an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications using Java and Angular. The role involves hands-on coding, technical leadership, customer interaction, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Angular. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience in Java 8/Spring Boot/Microservices development
  • At least 4 years of experience in Angular (v8+) with libraries like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, typescript, Jasimine Karma, Mockito are required
  • Strong experience with REST APIs, JPA, Spring Security
  • Hands-on with Kafka/MQ, JUnit, design patterns
  • Experience with SQL (Oracle/SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB/Postgres/Cosmos DB)
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, Git; exposure to OpenShift deployments
  • Experience in Jenkins, IntelliJ, Git
  • Experience with SOAP/XML
  • DevOps awareness and cloud/container ecosystem
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work in Agile, global delivery environments
  • Highly Sensitive to Information Security and Data Privacy laws
  • Knowledge of Web Servers, Application Servers.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop applications using Java, Spring Boot & Microservices
  • Build responsive UI using Angular (v8+)
  • Lead code reviews, mentor team members, and ensure coding best practices
  • Work closely with customers on requirements, issues, and status updates
  • Support deployments, testing, and production transition
  • Contribute to architecture, design, and technical documentation
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 89,004 to $ 115,491
