Compensation - Competitive (including bonus) Job Description Workday Technical Consultant is expected to be proficient in implementing technical solutions within Workday, including Integrations - PECI and PICOF Integrations, Orchestrate integration, Studio, Reports, Security Configuration, Data Conversion, Middleware Connectivity. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting technical solutions that enable seamless integration between Workday and enterprise applications. Your Role In the role of Workday Technical Consultant, you are expected to have hands-on experience in Workday technical development, implementation, and production support. You should possess strong expertise in Workday Integrations, Advanced Reporting, Calculated Fields, Security Configuration, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Studio, APIs, and data migration solutions.
You will anchor the technical workstream from requirement analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and support. You will collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, architects, and client teams to deliver scalable and high-performing Workday solutions.
As a technical expert, you will participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, troubleshooting activities, and capability-building initiatives while ensuring adherence to Workday best practices and development standards. Responsibilities
- Relevant experience in Workday Implementation, Rollout, Upgrade, Enhancement, and Support projects.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using native Workday technologies.
- Develop and support:
- Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
- Workday Studio
- Core Connectors
- Cloud Connect Integrations
- Web Services (SOAP/REST)
- Workday APIs
- Create and maintain Advanced, Matrix, Composite, Trending, and BIRT reports.
- Develop complex Calculated Fields to support reporting and integrations.
- Configure and support Workday Security Framework including:
- Domain Security Policies
- Business Process Security Policies
- ISU - ISG's configuration
- Support data conversion and migration activities for implementation projects.
- Perform integration testing, SIT, UAT support, and deployment activities.
- Develop technical design documents, integration specifications, and support documentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration failures and production support issues.
- Optimize integration and reporting performance through tuning and best practices.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Participate in Workday release analysis and validation activities.
- Ensure compliance with development governance, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to capability development initiatives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and project governance meetings.

- Minimum 12 years of Workday experience with at least 3 years in a dedicated technical role.
- Experience in at least 3 full lifecycle Workday implementation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in:

- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Experience with testing methodologies and deployment processes.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
- Workday Integration Certification.
- Workday Studio Certification.
- Workday Pro Integrations Certification.
- Experience with Workday Extend development.
- Experience working with middleware platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
- Knowledge of Workday Security and Reporting frameworks.
- Experience supporting global implementations and large enterprise environments.
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
