Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Fusion Finance Lead/Principal Consultant to oversee and drive end-to-end implementation and support of key Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expense Management, Tax, Revenue Management Cloud Services (RMCS), Projects and Advanced Collections. The consultant will work closely with Finance leadership, business SMEs, and cross-functional teams to define solution architecture, lead workshops, guide functional consultants, ensure seamless module integration, and provide expert oversight for project execution. This role requires strong command over financial processes, statutory and compliance requirements, and the ability to independently lead discussions with the customer.

Your role

In the role of a Lead or Principal consultant, you will serve to facilitate Finance Functional role with below responsibilities as followed.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle Fusion Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expense Management, Tax, Revenue Management Cloud Services (RMCS), Projects and Advanced Collections (if applicable).
  • Conduct requirements workshops with customer business users and senior office, Finance Controllers, AP/AR teams, Treasury, and Audit teams.
  • Translate business processes into future-state Fusion Finance architecture.
  • Prepare solution designs, BRDs/MD50s, test scripts, and configuration documents

Responsibilities
  • Module Configuration & Functional Expertise
    • Configure Fusion Financial modules based on global design principles and local statutory needs.
    • Manage Chart of Accounts (CoA), ledgers, legal entities, accounting rules, subledger configurations, and tax setups.
    • Support period close processes, reconciliations, journals, allocations, and intercompany flows.
    • Drive setup for bank accounts, cash pooling, payment formats, and treasury workflows.
  • Finance Integrations & Reporting
    • Provide functional leadership for integrations with Payroll, Procurement & SCM, Treasury systems, Banking interfaces, and third-party invoicing platforms.
    • Collaborate with technical teams on FBDI/HDL-based loads, OIC/REST API integrations, and OTBI/BI Publisher reports.
    • Lead financial data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
  • Project Governance & Customer Engagement
    • Independently handle client discussions, workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
    • Partner with PMO on planning, RAIDs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and status reporting.
    • Manage functional consultants working across different finance modules.
    • Ensure compliance with audit, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Testing, Rollout & Support
    • Lead SIT, UAT, regression testing, and hypercare support.
    • Drive quarter-end and year-end support readiness.
    • Own issue triaging, resolution management, and continuous improvements.
    • Guide business users on new features and quarterly Fusion Cloud updates.
  • Required Skills & Experience
    • 10-15 years of experience in Oracle ERP implementations; 6+ years in Oracle Fusion Cloud.
    • Strong expertise in at least 4-5 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Taxes, Revenue Management Cloud Services (RMCS), Projects, Expenses).
    • Deep knowledge of Subledger Accounting (SLA), multi-ledger architecture, and cross-module flows.
    • Hands-on experience in finance data migration (FBDI uploads, opening balances, historical data, EBS to Cloud).
    • Experience with Oracle Cloud implementation methodologies
    • Experience in Telecommunications sector
    • Strong understanding of statutory reporting, localization, and period close processes.
    • Ability to lead functional teams and coordinate with technical architects.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
  • Should be excellent planner when it comes to perform release planning and other delivery planning.
  • Should have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Experience in GCC/Middle East finance regulatory environments.
  • Exposure to enterprise multi-company, multi-country rollouts.
  • Familiarity with integrations involving banks, treasury systems, and procurement.
  • Experience in onsite-offshore delivery models.
