Lead Consultant - Big Data
Infosys is seeking a Big Data Lead Consultant with Treasury and Payment data experience. The position will primarily be responsible interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area.
- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Experience in solution architecture, Data Modelling, Data Governance and metadata management in Big Data implementations

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders and development teams.
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of projects in Spark, Informatica especially large scale big data lake or warehouse data engineering and analytics.
- Experience in Big data ecosystem using Hadoop, Spark, Scala using Python packages and libraries for large scale data. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL, Unix shell scripting.
- Good experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling and Modeling of Unstructured data.
- Good knowledge in Global Banking Treasury and Payments Domain and functions. Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices.
- Good understanding of data architecture, data integration, data quality and data architecture.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
