Role Description:
L3 - Senior Network Specialist
Location: Melbourne / Sydney
Salary: AUD 108,571 - 119,893 Annual Gross
Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes

Work Arrangement: This role operates within a 24/7 NOC/Support environment. Candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shift rosters and participate in an on-call roster as required.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and architecture of enterprise and cloud-based network solutions.
- Own and resolve network incidents, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical network issues and functionality.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes; ensure SLA/KPI compliance.
- Drive operational excellence in a 24/7 support environment, including on-demand remote escalation.
- Manage lifecycle operations, platform upgrades, and new project rollouts.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
- Mentor and guide technical teams during major incidents and problem resolution.
Experience: Minimum 10+ years in ICT Network Engineering, service provider, or enterprise network management.
Technical Expertise:
- Cisco IOS/IOS-XE, Nexus, ACI; Juniper; Aruba/HP; Viptela; Meraki; Fortinet.
- Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPN, IPsec.
- Wireless solutions (Cisco, Aruba), WAN technologies (Ethernet, 3G/4G/5G).
- Meraki, Versa, Viptela, Prisma SD-WAN, SD-LAN, DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM), WAN optimization.
- Integrate Prisma SD WAN with Palo Alto NGFW for unified security enforcement
- Cloud : AWS, Azure, GCP
- Cisco Prime, DNAC, ClearPass, LogicMonitor, SolarWinds, Zenoss, ServiceNow.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ITIL knowledge.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Professional-level certifications: CCNP ENSDWI (300-415), CCIE plus vendor-specific certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba/HP, SD-WAN).
- Palo Alto certifications (PCNSE / Prisma SD WAN)
- Cisco certifications (CCNP / Meraki specific exposure)
- Experience in SASE/SSE transformation programs
