Junior Accountant with German (GL)

Currently we are looking for the candidate for the position of:
Junior Accountant with German (GL)
Location: Bucharest and Sibiu - hybrid 3/2

Responsibilities:
Prepare various reconciliations, journal entries, fixed asset accounting, reporting, and other required activities to support month-end and year-end close processes.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial records and reporting.
Analyze variances and resolve accounting issues.
Support SLA and quality target achievement.
Actively participate in board meetings.
Support audits and prepare required documentation.
Respond to client queries in a timely manner.
Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements:
Approximately 1 year of experience in R2R/ General Ledger processes
Very good command of German and English (minimum B2 level) - essential for client communication purposes
Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Good understanding of month-end and year-end closing activities
Practical knowledge of SAP and MS Excel
Knowledge of reconciliations, journal entries, fixed assets, and accruals
Strong analytical and communication skills
