Java fullstack Lead

We are seeking an experienced Java Full stack Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE technologies, and modern web frameworks. The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze, enhance, and maintain complex codebases; design and build scalable services; and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. This role involves contributing across the full software lifecycle, including both development and production support. Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, along with exposure to cloud platforms, is essential.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • Experience in Core Java, object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, and J2EE technologies.
  • Experience in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and microservices-based architectures.
  • Experience in design, develop, and maintain RESTful and SOAP-based services.
  • Experience working with JSP, Hibernate, and front-end scripting technologies such as JavaScript.
  • Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, with AWS preferred, and exposure to GCP or Azure.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Analyze, understand, and modify complex existing codebases to support evolving business and technical requirements.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage applications on enterprise application servers such as WebSphere and JBoss.
  • Participate across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Contribute to both new development and application maintenance initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with production support teams to diagnose and resolve production issues, including defects and performance bottlenecks.
  • Execute project deliverables within both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
