Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer - This position's primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate for day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; builds applications, interfaces between applications, understands data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research on technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions & should contribute to technology-specific best practices & standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including, reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contributes expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guides/mentors the team during the build and test phases.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Boston, MA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Core Java (8+): OOP, collections, streams, concurrency, exception handling.
  • Experience in Java/J2EE & Spring: Spring Boot, Spring MVC; Struts experience acceptable/valued for legacy migrations.
  • Experience in Microservices: REST API design, inter-service communication, resilience patterns, pagination, error handling.
  • Experience in Front-end: React JS (functional components, hooks, basic state management, routing), HTML5/CSS3, JSPs.
  • Experience in Database & PL/SQL: Strong SQL; exposure to any one RDBMS is mandatory (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server).

  • Experience in Design, develop, and maintain RESTful microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC (experience with Struts is acceptable for migration/maintenance scenarios).
  • Build responsive, modular front-end components in React JS (hooks/state management), integrating with REST APIs.
  • Write clean, testable code with unit/integration tests (JUnit/Mockito) and follow secure coding practices.
  • Work with PL/SQL and at least one RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.): write queries, stored procedures, and optimize performance.
  • Implement CI/CD workflows using GitHub (branches, PRs, code reviews) and collaborate with DevOps for build/deploy.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to performance tuning across app tiers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, refine user stories, estimate effort, and deliver in sprints.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation (API specs, sequence diagrams, deployment guides).

Princeton, NJ : $76071 to $98893
Boston, MA : $78903 to $102574

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
