Java Full Stack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer - In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture knowledge and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in design and development of web applications using Java 17 and Spring Frameworks such as Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka and Angular 16+.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience in Java development.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Angular 15 and above.
  • At least 4 years of experience in CSS, SCSS, HTML5, ContextAPI, React Hooks API, GraphQL.
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience in software development life cycle.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and front-end technologies like Angular or React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define architecture, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless integration with backend systems and third-party services.
  • Ensure code quality and performance through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Cassandra.
  • Deploy and manage applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
  • Apply secure coding practices and compliance standards, especially relevant to banking and financial applications.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Experience in banking or financial services, with understanding of treasury, transaction processing, compliance, and data security.
