Java Full Stack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack Developer, in this role youwill work in different phases of engagements primarily related to Java landscape. You will be responsible for the techno-functional solution, requirements specifications, consulting on functionalities implemented, testing, providing functional consultation on the application, integration, and reports of enterprise solutions for Java implementation with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding solutions to customers within the guidelines, policies, and norms of Infosys. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of St Louis, Missouri or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations

• Proven years of experience with Java or Kotlin and event-driven architecture
• Strong programming experience with Java tech stack - Springboot, Microservices, DynamoDB
• Experience with Kubernetes and service-oriented architectures (100+ services in production)
• Unit Testing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud platform experience with AWS, Temporal (nice to have)
• CI/CD pipelines experience: Gitlab
• Background in building SOA or microservices-based applications
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, with a track record of seeing projects through from start to finish
• Passion for solving complex problems and delivering impactful features
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with code reviews and shared design processes, Agile environment

Key Responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Lead the development and testing of the systems and services
• Contribute to the technical architecture and design of the product
• Translate product requirements into user stories and scalable technical solutions
• Deliver reliable, scalable services in a production environment
• Propose new ideas and contribute to innovation initiatives
• Collaborate with project leads, product managers, and fellow engineers as well as functional (business and back office) teams
• Participate in sprint planning, code review, development, backlog grooming
• Will have to follow data security, compliance best practices

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
