Java Cloud Architect

Infosys is seeking a Java Cloud Architect - This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the software development life cycle including requirements elicitation, application architecture definition and design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC, or Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
  • Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.
  • At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Java, and cloud technologies with a focus on AWS.

  • At least 7 years of experience in application design, requirement elicitation from LOB and translating them into system specifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to document processes and platform architecture into sustainable documents.
  • Plan, develop, organize, build and test service and API integration services.
  • Research, develop and document technical design specifications and test scripts.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation.
  • Experience in cloud aware, exposure to data migration, security and compliance standards.
  • Experience in payments data/object/service models.

  • Knowledge of network integration with 3rd party networks including ACH, RTP and card networks.
  • Effective communication skills.

  • Experience in delivering innovative and newer trends in payments / financial networks.
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.

  • Working in large organizations and understanding of the culture these large organizations bring.
