Infosys is seeking Java Architect This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty; be part of a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York, NY or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Experience
- At least 7 years of experience as implementing solutions on cloud platforms such as Red Hat OpenShift, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, leveraging cloud-native services.
- At least 7 years of experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to build robust and efficient applications.
- Experience in lead the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
- Extensive experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for application deployment and scaling.
- Experience in integrating and optimize messaging systems such as IBM MQ, Apache Kafka, and solace within the application architecture.
- Experience in designing and managing databases, including oracle and NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
- Experience in applying architectural principles, design patterns, and sloid principles to develop maintainable and scalable software solutions.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards and best practices.
- Experience in emerging technologies and assess their applicability to our technical landscape.
- Explore and implement AI and ML technologies to enhance application capabilities and drive innovation.
- Experience in modernizing legacy systems and integrating modern technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on technical challenges.
- Excellent technical communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to development teams and technical stakeholders.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to learning and implementing new technologies.
