Job Title: IT Security Analyst - Supplier ID Administration
Position Overview: The IT Security Analyst will be responsible for the administration, auditing, and security review of Supplier IDs. This role requires a strong understanding of IT security practices, process improvement, and supplier management. The ideal candidate will have experience in identity management and a keen eye for detail to ensure compliance and security best practices are upheld.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation, modification, and deactivation of Supplier IDs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure that all Supplier ID requests are processed accurately and timely, adhering to access control policies.
- Conduct regular security reviews and audits of Supplier IDs to identify any unauthorized access or anomalies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and mitigate risks associated with Supplier ID management.
- Analyze existing processes related to Supplier ID administration and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and security.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and controls related to Supplier ID management.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations pertaining to identity and access management.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for management regarding Supplier ID activities and security posture.
- Work closely with IT teams, procurement, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to Supplier ID management.
- Provide training and support to staff regarding Supplier ID processes and security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT security, identity management, or a related area.
- Strong understanding of access control principles and identity management practices.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with identity management tools and software.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations and best practices.
