Role Description: IOS/AOS Mobile Developer
Location: Hong Kong
Short Description:
Be part of the team driving Mobile Payment APP, Hong Kong's top mobile payment app used by millions for everyday transfers, QR payments, splitting bills, and merchant transactions. As an International Bank's Mobile Developer, you will develop and enhance the iOS and/or Android apps, focusing on seamless user experiences, security, and innovative features like social payments, rewards, and integrations with banking services.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality native mobile applications for iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Implement responsive, intuitive UI/UX features in collaboration with designers, product managers, and backend engineers.
- Integrate with system backend APIs, handle real-time payment flows, push notifications, biometric authentication, and offline capabilities.
- Ensure app security (e.g., secure storage, tokenization, anti-fraud measures) and compliance with App Store/Google Play guidelines and financial regulations.
- Optimize app performance, reduce crashes, and improve load times for a smooth user experience under high traffic.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing (unit/UI), CI/CD for mobile, and app release cycles.
- Contribute to feature ideation, A/B testing, user feedback incorporation, and app evolution (e.g., new payment methods, merchant features).
Skills /Competencies:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-8+ years of experience in mobile app development, with strong proficiency in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android); experience with both platforms is highly valued.
- Familiarity with modern mobile architectures (MVVM, Clean Architecture), reactive programming (Combine/Coroutines), and REST/GraphQL integrations.
- Experience with mobile security practices, payments SDKs, biometrics (Face ID/Touch ID), and handling sensitive financial data.
- Proficiency in version control (Git), agile methodologies, and collaboration tools.
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail for delivering polished, user-centric apps.
- Fluency in English; Cantonese/Mandarin advantageous for user insights in Hong Kong.
Preferred:
- Prior work on fintech/payment apps (e.g., mobile wallets, QR codes, FPS integration).
- Experience with cross-platform tools (e.g., Flutter/React Native), CI/CD for mobile (Fastlane), or app analytics (Firebase).
