Job Description -
Key Responsibilities

• Orchestration Modeling: Design and develop configuration models using the Inmanta modeling language (Inmanta DSL) to represent complex infrastructure and network services.
• Automation Deployment: Build, test, and deploy end-to-end automation workflows and service pipelines for telecom networks (NFV/SDN) and cloud environments.
• Integration & API Development: Develop and maintain Inmanta modules, integrating the orchestrator with northbound systems (OSS/BSS, CRM) and southbound entities (network elements, cloud providers via REST APIs, NETCONF/YANG, etc.).
• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Integrate Inmanta service models into Git-based CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing, validation, and safe deployment of infrastructure changes.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage the full lifecycle of orchestrated services, ensuring the platform accurately monitors state, auto-heals, and scales dynamically.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with Network Engineers, Cloud Architects, and DevOps teams to translate manual operational workflows into automated, intent-based code.

• Inmanta Expertise: Hands-on experience working with the Inmanta Service Orchestrator, including writing custom Inmanta modules and working with the Inmanta compiler.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deep understanding of intent-based configuration management and state enforcement concepts.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Python (since Inmanta modules and plugins are built on Python) and familiarity with data serialization languages (YAML, JSON).
• Networking & Telecom Knowledge: Solid understanding of SDN, NFV, cloud-native networking, and protocols/standards like NETCONF, YANG, SNMP, and REST.
• DevOps Tooling: Experience with Git, CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, Jenkins), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Problem Solving: Ability to debug complex, distributed systems and map out dependency graphs for intricate service chains.

• Inmanta certifications or active contributions to the Inmanta open-source community.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or OpenStack).
• Familiarity with TM Forum Open APIs or ETSI MANO standards.
