Job Description - Infrastructure Solution Architect

Location- Gothenburg, Sweden

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Architect to design, plan, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires strong expertise in infrastructure transformation, migration programs, and hybrid architecture, along with the ability to drive transition and operational readiness across complex IT landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end infrastructure solutions across datacenter, cloud (Azure/AWS), network, and hosting environments
• Lead infrastructure transformation and migration initiatives, including datacenter exit, consolidation, and cloud adoption
• Define architecture for hybrid environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and security compliance
• Support transition planning and execution, including knowledge transfer, service handover, and operational readiness
• Collaborate with enterprise, security, and network architects for integrated solution design
• Drive disaster recovery (DR), business continuity (BCP), and high availability (HA) strategies
• Provide governance across solution design, migration waves, and delivery milestones
• Engage with stakeholders and vendors to align technical solutions with business requirements
• Support capacity planning, performance optimization, and infrastructure standardization
• Contribute to ITIL-aligned processes (change, incident, problem management)

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure / Architecture / Transition
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Datacenter infrastructure (compute, storage, backup)
  • Cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Virtualization (VMware)
  • Networking and security architecture
• Experience in large-scale migration programs (VM, server, application, or datacenter exit)
• Exposure to hybrid infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of:
  • Disaster Recovery & High Availability architectures
  • Infrastructure governance and compliance
• Experience working in multi-vendor and global delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Good to Have

• Certifications:
  • Azure / AWS Architect
  • VMware
  • ITIL
• Experience in manufacturing / automotive / energy sectors
• Familiarity with ServiceNow integrations
