Industry Principal SAP ISU Expert Consultant

Infosys is seeking an Industry Principal SAP ISU Expert Consultant.

As a Industry Principal in large global SAP transformation programs, you will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and make recommendations. You will create detailed design and architecture, and process artifacts, implement the solution and the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 13 years of experience with Information Technology.
• The role may involve extensive travel to other project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 13 years of hands-on experience in SAP IS-U.
• Lead and deliver functional design, configuration, and implementation activities for SAP IS-U modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP IS-U solutions.
• Support core IS-U processes including:
  • Device Management (DM)
  • Billing & Invoicing
  • Customer Service
  • Meter Reading
  • Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable (FI-CA)
  • Energy Data Management (EDM)
• Drive enhancements, change requests, and system improvements as per business needs.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve issues across IS-U functional areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ABAP, Basis, Integration, and Business stakeholders.
• Prepare functional specifications and review technical developments.
• Support integration with other SAP modules: SD, FI/CA, PM, CRM, and third-party systems.
• Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT, and support go-live activities.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices, process optimization, and system standardization.
• Strong knowledge of the utilities domain (electricity, gas, water).
• Expertise in at least two key IS-U sub-modules (DM, Billing, FI-CA, EDM, or Customer Service).
• Experience in SAP IS-U implementation, upgrade, or support projects.
• Strong understanding of master data, billing schema, rate configuration, and market communication.
• Ability to write/validate functional specifications and guide technical teams.
• Experience with integrations using SAP PO/PI, Web Services, or third-party systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:

In CA, WA, NY, CO, MD, IL, MN, NJ : $118,000 to $174,000
In Washington, DC : $119,500 to $155,000
