Human Resources Lead - Bulgaria

This role of the HR Lead in Bulgaria reports into the HR Manager in Eastern Europe. The HR Lead will assist the HRM in making sure all HR compliance in Bulgaria is achieved. First point of contact for a population of all employees in Bulgaria. The position holder will actively participate in maintaining a healthy social climate as well as a supportive and effective HR service to local business leaders. The HR Lead - Bulgaria will not lead a team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage day to day workflow and HR processes including local compliance, benefits enrollment, administrative HR support (maintain employee files and registers, gather HR metrics and prepare reports, etc.), occupational medicine management, preparation of payroll information, and internal customer service to our employees and internal stakeholders, as required.
  • Partner with local leadership and business teams to provide HR solutions and be able to conceptualize, implement and manage the programs at a local level.
  • Conduct all inductions/on-boarding related efforts for new hires, transfers, etc. and follow up on trial period outcomes.
  • Conduct exit interviews for leaving employees.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers on HR-related matters.
  • Effectively partner with Central HR Functions such as compensation, recruiting, payroll, organizational effectiveness, etc.
  • Develop and implement appropriate employee engagement and communication programs.

Required skills:
  • Experience in Human Resource functions in Bulgaria is necessary, ideally in an international IT matrix environment, on topics such as employment, compensation, labor and employee relations, HR compliance and administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Bulgarian employment and labor law and other regulations.
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, multinational working environment, requiring prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent working knowledge of both Bulgarian and English languages.
  • Good Communication and Influencing skills.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred, SAP is a plus.
