HashiCorp Vault Lead

Infosys is seeking for a HashiCorp Vault Lead. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology

- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, Hartford, CT, Indianapolis, IN, Phoenix, AZ, Raleigh, NC, Tempe, AZ be willing to relocate to these areas. This position may require travel in the US.
- Hands on experience in HashiCorp Vault
- Sound experience in CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private cloud platforms (vmware, openstack)
- Experience deploying and managing HashiCorp Vault in production environments.
- Knowledge of Vaults authentication methods, secret engines, and access control mechanisms.
- Experience with managing Vault clusters, including backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Other HashiCorp Tools: Experience with HashiCorp Consul or Nomad is a plus.
- Proficient with Terraform for provisioning Vault infrastructure, and experience with other IaC tools like CloudFormation or Pulumi.
- Experience with tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for managing Vault configurations.
- Proficiency with Git for source code management and collaboration, including experience with GitHub Actions for automating workflows.
- Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration, including experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and security hardening.
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot Linux-based environments hosting Vault and related services.
- Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, key management, and access control.
- Experience with implementing Vault in a compliance-driven environment (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA).
- Understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and secure network configurations.
- Ability to configure and troubleshoot network settings related to Vault and its integrations.
- Familiarity with integrating Vault with cloud-based services and infrastructure.
- Certifications: HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate or HashiCorp Certified: Vault Operations Professional.
- Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment.
