Functional Consultant

Infosys Brazil is seeking professionals with a Functional Consultant profile to join our team.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 7-9 years of experience in back-end development using Java or .NET.
• Strong knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, and Object-Oriented Programming (Groovy, Java).
• Experience with microservices integration (REST APIs).
• Willingness to work with proprietary systems in the financial sector.
• Experience in system implementation.
• Proficiency in data modeling for relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with AWS EC2 and OpenShift environments.
• Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
• Understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, containers, scripting, monitoring).
• Solid grasp of distributed systems and scalability concepts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of credit origination processes and Serasa PowerCurve and/or Experian One solutions.

Main activities and responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of medium to high-complexity technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle (requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support).
• Understand functional and technical requirements of Serasa Experian solutions and manage their configuration and implementation.
• Gather and detail requirements by interacting with clients, development teams, and project stakeholders.
• Document development steps and maintain version control records.
• Collaborate with the squad team to define business and architecture solutions through continuous communication and knowledge sharing.
• Investigate and resolve defects during the project lifecycle.
• Ensure requirements are delivered with quality and aligned to client needs.
• Accelerate delivery by leveraging reusable components and avoiding rework.
• Provide accurate and timely updates on task status and progress against the work plan.
