Skills /Competencies:

Essential Skills:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React JS (Hooks, Context API, Redux)
• Strong expertise in Node JS (Express/NestJS)
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience with REST APIs, Microservices architecture and Docker
• Database development experience, including relation database design, SQL & PostgreSQL.
• Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum).
• Experience with public clouds such as Azure, AWS
• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub).
• Experience with source control systems and continuous integration / deployment environments (git, Azure DevOps) and branching strategies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Act as a technical lead for the team, providing architectural guidance and hands-on leadership.
• Perform code reviews, ensuring quality, performance, security, and adherence to coding standards.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers through technical coaching, knowledge sharing, and pair programming.

Preferred Skills

• Database development experience, including relation database design, SQL & ORM technologies.
• Understanding of security best practices (OAuth, JWT, XSS, CSRF).
• Good to have ability to speak and understand Malay language

Additional Skills:

• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
• Supports Strategic Solution makings, estimations, Proof of Concepts, business proposal creation.
• Supports process optimizations, automation for performance improvement.
• Security Consideration and Risk assessment.
