ETL Developer with EDW

Infosys is seeking a highly experienced Technology Lead with expertise in the field of Data warehouse, Data Migration and Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, migration, business intelligence, Oracle PL/SQL.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
  
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of St Louis, MO or willing to relocate to this area. This position may require travel in the US.

• Strong knowledge of Data warehouse, Data Migration and Business Intelligence.
  
• Expertise in Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to evaluate and advocate for effective solutions.
  
• Exp required - Python, Pl/SQL, Snowflake, AWS

Key Responsibilities:

• Strong skills in Data Analysis, Data Requirement Analysis and Data Mapping for ETL processes.
  
• Experience on ETL tool Informatica Power Center on OLAP and OLTP environment.
  
• Knowledge and experience in dealing with Relational Database Management Systems including Normalization, Stored Procedures, Constraints, Querying, Joins, Keys, Indexes, Data Import/Export, Triggers, cursors using SQL and PL SQL.
  
• Knowledge in data modeling for OLTP relational databases and Data Warehouse applications using Ralph Kimball and Bill Inman design principles including facts and dimensions tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), Change Data Capture (CDC) and Dimensional Modeling - Star and Snowflake Schema.
  
• Highly interacted with the Business Users to gather requirements, Design Tables, standardize interfaces for receiving data from multiple operational sources, coming up with load strategies of loading staging area and data marts. Deal with Type1/Type2/Type3 loads.
  
• Expertise in creating databases, users, tables, views, functions, Stored Procedures, joins, indexes and Packages.
  
• Strong Knowledge in Relational Database Concepts, Entity Relation Diagrams, Normalization and Denormalization Concepts.
  
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC), Waterfall and Agile Project Management Methodologies.
  
• Generated SQL and PL/SQL scripts to create and drop database objects including tables, views, primary keys, indexes, and constraints
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time, and should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face-to-face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
