Data Visualization Administrator (Tableau Administrator)
Location: Mexico (Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey) - Hybrid as per Infosys Mexico policy (CDT/EDT time)
Role Overview
As Data Visualization Administrator you'll own and support the end - to - end Tableau ecosystem, working across Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Prep to ensure a secure, stable, and high - performing analytics platform for the organization. You'll manage identity and access through OKTA, administer users, groups, projects, and permissions, and ensure proper governance and compliance. You'll also manage and support data connections to key sources such as Amazon Redshift, MySQL, and SQL Server, enabling trustworthy, analytics - ready data for business users. You'll help unlock advanced analytics use cases by supporting TabPy integrations, and you'll proactively monitor platform health, performance, and usage using Tableau Admin Views and New Relic, identifying issues early and continuously optimizing the Tableau environment to deliver a smooth self - service analytics experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support the Tableau platform across Tableau Cloud, Server, Desktop, and Prep, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability.
- Manage security and governance by administering users, groups, and permissions through OKTA, following best practices for access control and compliance.
- Maintain and support data connectivity to enterprise data sources such as Redshift, MySQL, and SQL Server, and enable advanced analytics via TabPy.
- Monitor and optimize platform health and usage using Tableau Admin Views and New Relic, proactively identifying issues and driving continuous improvements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years of IT experience in data engineering or related technical roles.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) - strong verbal and written communication.
- Proven experience supporting Tableau.
Mandatory Skills
- Tableau Cloud, Server, Desktop, Prep.
- OKTA for identity & access.
- Data sources: Redshift, MySQL, SQL Server.
- Monitoring: NewRelic, Tableau Admin Views.
Preferred Skills
- TabPy for advanced analytics.
Other Requirements
- Ability to work under tight timelines and manage complex requirements.
- Flexible to work during CST/EST time zones and meet for hand-over activities to India team if needed.
