Data Engineer
Infosys Brazil is looking for professionals with the profile of Data Engineer with expertise in Snowflake, ADF, and dbt to join our team
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Develop and maintain data models and transformations using dbt within Snowflake
• Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure data quality, consistency, and performance
• Collaborate with Analytics, BI, and Data Science teams to understand data requirements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability of data workflows and pipelines
• Implement and contribute to data validation and data quality practices
• Document data architecture, processes, and technical decisions clearly
• Participate in code reviews and promote data engineering best practices

• Strong knowledge of database systems, data modeling, and advanced SQL
• Hands-on experience with dbt for building data transformations, models, and basic validation rules
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline orchestration
• Experience working with Snowflake, including query development and stored procedures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting data pipelines
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Analytics, BI, Data Science)
• Strong communication skills, both technical and business-oriented
