Role Description: Are you passionate about leading transformative technology strategies? We're looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to join our team
Location: Sydney
Salary: 150,742-171,215 AUD Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement organization-wide best practices for IT security
  • Lead the delivery of cyber security projects, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant execution.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365 security features to protect our organization's data and systems from cyber threats, and be proficient in threat modeling to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Drive our technology, lead by example, and support team members on their learning journey.
Essential:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Over 15 years of experience in solution architecture and implementations, specifically focusing on Cyber Security Arhictecture and related technology platforms
Preferred :
  • Demonstrated contribution to cyber process improvement.
  • Observable knowledge sharing, and teamwork
  • Engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in AWS or other cloud security and infrastructure, web infrastructure security, network security, encryption, database security, disaster recovery concepts, and operating system security.
  • Review design documents and IT solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing recommendations for mitigating risks.
  • Ability to adapt, integrate, and modify existing programs or vendor-supplied package programs for use with existing systems.
  • Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues. Highly self-motivated and attention to detail.
  • Deep subject matter expertise within relevant fields and broad awareness of industry trends and best practices.
  • Knowledge of industry regulatory frameworks, such as APRA CPS234, CPS 230, PCI-DSS, NIST, and CIS benchmarks.
  • Embed security controls into the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Any of the following qualifications highly desirable - MS-500, AZ500, SC-900 & SC-4000, CISSP, CCSP
