Short Description: Cloud Devops Engineer

Location : Sydney, Australia

Salary range: AUD 108,571- 119,893(Annual Gross)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Writing Terraform Modules and, in some cases, uplifting Providers to support the provisioning of infrastructure resources across on-prem and public cloud.
• Writing supporting design documentation
• Good knowledge on Terraform Coding- creating/Managing Troubleshooting Templates and State files.
• Know on Azure/AWS Cloud Formation.
• Creating Pipelines using Jenkins/Deploying/Monitor and Troubleshooting pipelines.
• Knowledge on Containerization using Kubernetes.
• Proficient in CI/CD using Azure DevOps and open-source automation tool Jenkins.
• Proficient in administering Azure IaaS resources Azure VMs, Virtual Networks, Subnets, Azure storages, SQL databases and Azure Active directory.
• Good scripting experience with PowerShell

Knowledge and Experience:

• Writing tools that consume APIs - in particular REST.
• Cloud Platform: Microsoft Azure
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, Jenkins
• Scripting & Programming Languages: C#, SQL, ASP.Net, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash
• Source Code management: GitHub, Azure Repos
• Source Code management: GitHub, Azure Repos

Mandatory Skills:

Essential:

• Azure + Terraform + Devops + Azure Cloud ServicesJenkins, Git/BitBucket etc.
• Hashicorp Tools - Terraform Enterprise, Vault, Packer

Additional Skills:

• Should have worked in Large Projects
• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Degree/Diploma in IT or equivalent
• ITIL certification would be an advantage
• Industry recognized IT certifications
