CAE Application Maintenance and Support Consultant
Infosys is seeking a CAE Application Maintenance and Support Consultant. In this role, you will collaborate with engineering and IT stakeholders to ensure robust maintenance, support, and optimization of CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) applications. You will be responsible for managing application lifecycle activities, including troubleshooting, performance tuning, and implementing enhancements for custom-built CAE solutions. Additionally, you will oversee license management and reporting, ensuring compliance and cost optimization across enterprise environments. Your expertise will drive technical excellence in supporting simulation workflows, integrating CAE tools with PLM systems, and enabling scalable solutions for engineering teams.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate can be located anywhere in the US. This position will require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 6 months of experience in Information Technology.
At least 6 months of experience in CAE application maintenance and support (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, or similar).
Experience in developing custom applications or scripts for CAE workflows using languages such as Python,
Hands-on experience with CAE license management tools and reporting (e.g., FlexLM, RLM).
Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems and shell scripting for automation.
Understanding of engineering simulation processes and integration with PLM systems.
Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for application development and deployment.
Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts, as the role may involve combination of regular shifts and off shift support needs as they arise

Preferred Qualifications:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for CAE application performance optimization.
Experience in managing enterprise-scale CAE environments and global license pools.
Knowledge of cloud-based CAE deployments and virtualization technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a multi-stakeholder, global delivery environment.
Experience in reporting and analytics for license usage and cost forecasting
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $61,000 to $73,200
In Washington, DC: $61,700 to $66,200
