Big Data Lead

Infosys is seeking a Big Data Lead In the role of Technology Lead, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of Experience

Preferred Qualifications:-

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Big Data/Hadoop Ecosystem technologies
• Working experience in below technologies:
  • HDFS
  • Hadoop
  • Map Reduce
  • Apache Pig
  • Apache Hive
  • HBase
  • Sqoop
  • Apache Oozie
  • Apache Spark
  • SQL
  • Kala
  • Scala
  • Python
  • Shell Scripting
• Working experience in Cloud is required
• Should be having good working exp in data pipeline areas using platforms such as Google BigQuery and Prism (Looker) dashboards
• Scripting ability - Shell or similar experience
• At least 4 years of experience with collecting client technical requirements and translating these to project requirements
• Talent must be strong around Software Engineering skills
• Should have a passion to acquire new technologies quickly and be capable of comprehending and managing the tasks accordingly
• At least 4 years of experience Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Multi cloud architecture exposure preferred, should have sound working exp in data pipeline enhancement areas
• Talent should have debugged experience eg to do the RCA for finding issues causing data pipeline failure.
• Talent should have exposure on multiple platforms eg, Spark, Kala, Hive, Java, Python etc
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
