Your role

In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required
The responsibilities will include:

• Install, upgrade, configure, and administer Axway Transfer CFT, and Linux/Unix Windows.
• Develop and optimize secure file transfer flows across multiple partners and protocols ( SFTP, FTPS, etc.)
• Provide advice when asked on appropriate route for file transfers with Tier parties.
• Work closely with network, security, and application teams to integrate CFT
• Manage CFT partners (PARTNER objects) and ensure smooth file exchanges with internal and external systems.
• Automate and script file transfer operations using Shell scripting, Python, or PowerShell.
• Monitor and troubleshoot file transfers to ensure real-time tracking, alerting, and reporting.
• Perform incident resolution and root cause analysis for file transfer issues.
• Ensure compliance with security standards (encryption, authentication, access control).
• Ensure compliance with changes best practices (documentation, tests evidence
• Update team documentation
• Provide 7x24 on-call support in a roster basis
• Support Weekend tasks in a roster basis

Technical Skills

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

• • • Proven experience with Axway Transfer CFT (installation, configuration, administration)
    • Proficiency in CFT command-line interface (CFTUTIL) and Axway management tools
    • Deep understanding of file transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTPS, etc).
    • Strong expertise in Linux/Unix/Windows administration and scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
    • Experience with troubleshooting and performance tuning for CFT.
    • Knowledge of encryption, authentication, and security best practices in file transfers.
    • Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).
    • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with diverse user groups from application developer, application support team, project managers, and other domains expertise, both written and verbal in English

Preferred

• • • Axway Certified Administrator - CFT
    • Good understanding of ITIL practices and experience working in regulated environments (banking/finance preferred).
    • Experience with incident resolution and root cause analysis for major incidents and outages.
    • Service Now experience and/or with any other ticketing management application.
    • Experience with incident+ request management, change management including CAB representation
    • French is a plus.
