Infosys is seeking a GIS Lead Consultant with strong utility and GIS domain background in playing a techno-functional lead role in implementing GIS solutions for Electric Utilities in a multi-technology platform that includes ESRI ArcGIS and ArcFM. You will be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- Candidates must be located within commuting distance of Oakland, CA or be willing to relocate to this location. This position may require travel to project locations.

- At least 7 years of experience in Information Technology.
- Ability to lead the design, develop, test, and deploy solutions on Esri platforms.
- Expertise in leading Technical Designs and Functional workshops with customers.
- Having experience in development or leading the development team: Python - ArcPy, Dotnet , ESRI JS API , ESRI Experience Builder, Arcade
- Knowledge of integration patterns with other systems (e.g., SAP) is essential.
- Capability to run functional workshops with business for GIS requirements and perform demos using GIS products.
- Ability to create AS-IS and TO-BE process documents, identify gaps, and suggest customizations using the GIS framework, conduct CRPs, and perform product fitment
- Proficiency in developing functional design documents from Functional specification documents and configuring packages to meet project requirements.
- Ability to guide, mentor, and review end-to-end solutions, and resolve issues during support/Post-Go Live phases.
- Experience and collaboration with business stakeholders to implement, deploy, and support geostatistical analysis, geoprocessing, and geocoding tools.
- Experience in GIS industry and expertise in ESRI technologies.
- Experience in at least 4+ full-cycle implementations for utilities (Power/Water/Sewer) with hands-on functional and deployment experience in GIS.
- Strong knowledge of GIS, Esri suite of solutions, and development experience (web patterns).
- Prior knowledge of Esri Capacity planning tools, including ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, Widgets (and Custom Widgets), FME, and deployment of ArcGIS Enterprise Solutions.
- In-depth understanding of Esri Utility Data Models aligned to North American standards.
- Familiarity with Esri Utility Network solutions and Data Models.
- Experience with process integration of GIS with other utility enterprise and operational systems such as WMIS, CIS, Synergee, etc.
- Experience in leading development teams, working with client teams/SMEs, and guiding them through the project lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills.
- Support for cross-functional IT projects relying heavily on GIS technology.
- Expertise in spatial data management, handling disparate datasets, and tying them spatially.
- Familiarity with Agile/SAFe software development methodologies.
- Good knowledge of the Utilities Industry, willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
- Knowledge of FME, experience with ArcGIS Enterprise on Cloud (AWS), proficiency in Oracle and Windows Server, AD.
- Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel
- Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
