Application Support Engineer

Infosys is seeking an Application Support Engineer with monitoring tools experience. As a Production Services Specialist, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring availability and reliability of assigned production applications within a line of business. To perform this function, the resource will have to perform daily tasks assigned by the Production Support Lead.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. This position may require travel in the US.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Interface with technical and business stakeholders on incident management, apply your technical proficiency for triaging the issues and engaging the applicable internal and external (Managers / Application owners, Support Analysts, Infrastructure Team, Developers and technology specialists) for issue resolution.
  • Restore a normal service operation as quickly as possible and to minimize the impact on business operations, thus ensuring that the best possible levels of service quality and availability are maintained.
  • Coordinate all activities required to lead incident triage in compliance with SLAs and OLAs.
  • Facilitate the outage calls and ensure that all the required resources are engaged to work a Major Incident.
  • Preparing internal reports on Major incidents and leading their review with Executive Management.
  • SLA & KPI reporting.
  • Building tools, processes and team capabilities for effective incident triage and management.
  • Team Onsite - Offshore coordination in global delivery model.
Basic Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience in Java, Restful API, AWS, Snowflake.
  • Hands on experience in Java application production support and maintenance experience (tier 2 and tier 3).
  • Incident management & problem management.
  • Monitoring and other areas like Dynatrace/Cloud Watch, tools etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scripting knowledge (JavaScript / Python).
  • SQL skills
  • Dashboarding, automation and simplification
  • Any kind of ticketing tool experience (Service Now is preferred)
  • SLA & KPI management
  • Telecom domain
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
Colorado: min $79191 & max $110270

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
