AI Principal Consultant
Infosys is seeking an AI Principal Consultant.In this role, you will be an expert contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, AI/ML or related discipline
11+ years programming experience out of which at least 4+ years in data science in lead/architect role
Programming languages: Python, SQL with 5+ years of work experience in developing Production-grade code using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch

Proven expertise in classical ML (SVM, k-Nearest Neighbors etc) as well as Deep neural networks
Experience in LLM serving with at least one Production grade implementation
Deep work experience in at least 1 Cloud platform - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
Knowledge of at least one Big data platforms like Apache Hadoop, Spark
Strong Unix & CI/CD skills
Experience in at least 1 Gen-AI framework like LangChain, LangGraph etc
Lead client discussions to understand the client business problems and suggest AI-based solutions
Understand the client AI infrastructure and conduct POCs, experiments and showcase value proposition
Prepare the architecture and design for complex AI solutions, including data pipelines, model selection, and model serving
Lead the development and deployment of scalable, robust GenAI solutions
Analyze client data for trends and patterns and derive actionable insights
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of GenAI models and solutions and ensuring that they adhere to security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, AI/ML or related discipline
Papers in reputed AI/ML conferences/publications or acknowledged open source contributions
Experience in applying Gen AI techniques in the QE and Ops space
Flexibility, Teamwork, Positive attitude and complete awareness on SDLC model.
Experience in Health care domain is additional plus
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
