AI Evangelist - SURE Segment
AI Evangelist - SURE Segment
The SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources & Energy) Industry Sector is seeking an experienced AI Evangelist to join its growing practice.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The AI Evangelist for the SURE segment is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed to accelerate the adoption and growth of Artificial Intelligence across our Services, Utilities, Resources, and Energy client portfolio. Reporting directly to the SVP & Head of the SURE AI Council, this individual will serve as the primary AI catalyst-bridging Infosys's enterprise-wide AI capabilities with the specific operational, commercial, and regulatory realities of the energy, utilities, mining, and resources industries.
This is not a pure technological role. The AI Evangelist must be equally effective in a client boardroom, on sales pursuit, in a delivery review, and at an industry conference. The core mandate-comprising roughly 75% of the role-is hands-on execution: working shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales Leaders to shape and close AI deals, partnering with Delivery Leaders to drive AI initiatives from pilot to production, and connecting the full breadth of Infosys's service lines into SURE client opportunities. The remaining focus is on AI thought leadership and external ecosystem engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth (30%)
- Partner with SURE Sales Leaders and Client Partners on AI-focused pipeline building, deal shaping, and proposal development for key accounts across the energy and utilities landscape.
- Co-create outcome-based pricing models and value propositions for AI-led engagements, grounded in SURE domain-specific use cases such as Upstream and Downstream Operations Workbench, DERMS integration, predictive asset maintenance, and AI-augmented subsurface analytics.

- Identify and qualify new AI revenue opportunities by connecting client pain points with Infosys service line capabilities across consulting, technology, digital, and BPO.
- Maintain a working pipeline view of AI opportunities across the SURE segment and report progress to the SURE AI Council.
- Develop AI sales playbooks, battle cards, and reusable proposal assets that enable SURE Client Partners to independently identify and qualify AI opportunities in their accounts.
- Work closely with SURE Delivery Leaders and Program Managers to embed AI into active engagements, ensuring AI initiatives move from proof-of-concept to production at scale.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to define AI solution architectures, data readiness assessments, and MLOps / LLMOps frameworks appropriate for industrial and regulated environments (NERC CIP, PHMSA, EPA, etc.).
- Drive post-deployment value realization by establishing AI KPIs, ROI measurement frameworks, and client-facing success narratives.
- Serve as an escalation point and advisory resource when AI engagements face technical, organizational, or adoption challenges.
- Establish a repeatable AI delivery governance framework for SURE-covering intake, prioritization, resourcing, and stage-gate reviews-to ensure consistent execution quality across the segment's AI portfolio.
