ACON | Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer | Karlovac

Your role

In the role of an Instrumentation and Electrical engineer, you will be an engineering professional adding value to a scope of Gas and Steam Turbine Power Plant projects. You will be creating detailed electrical design of complete or partial control loops like Control Cabinet design together with all related technical documentation (Wiring diagram, cabinet layout, cabinet material list, signal exchange list, Loop diagram, connection diagram, cable list, Junction box design, Marshalling wiring list, Profibus and Foundation Fieldbus diagram and delivery instructions). Correspondingly you will also prepare the related commissioning documents and if required participate in equipment shop inspections and tests. Independently develop and review relevant control and electrical design solutions and contribute to Gas/Steam Turbine and Combined Cycle Power Plant projects. The work will be interlaced with other disciplines involved on the projects. There will be opportunity to collaborate with wide-world sites and operate as technical site support, which will offer high quality and defect-free solutions to meet our clients' business needs. Location for this position is Croatia. This position may require travel.

Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or foreign equivalent required.
• Fluent in English & Croatian.
• Ability to work in multisite / interdisciplinary team environment and client interfacing skills.

Technical skills :

• 3 years' work experience in Control and Electrical Cabinet design with including electrical schematic of complete control loop (from measurement point to the I/O card).
• Good command of electrical CAE tool (either EPLAN or WSCAD or COMOS or etc...).

Good to Have Skills

• Experience in turbo machinery/power plant development business or similar.
• Field work experience (installation and commissioning of control and electrical equipment).
• Experience in CAE tools (e.g EPLAN or WSCAD or COMOS or etc...).
• Knowledge of additional foreign language is an advantage.
• Ability to use AI tools.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
