Creative Director

We’re looking for a Creative Director to uphold and improve all aspects of our brand’s visual identity. The core function of this position is to lead our designers through the creation process and ensure that all visual materials are aligned and of high quality.

• Create designs that address business, brand, market and user requirements, including the design and production of site layouts, print materials, content treatment and user interface elements
• Lead, inspire, and supervise our team of designers throughout the creative process while managing workflow efficiently
• Continually provide insight into industry best practices, design trends, and content generation ideas
• Collaborate across teams to understand and meet the objectives of internal and client visual initiatives

Desired Skills & Experience:
• 8+ years of digital design experience – print design experience preferred but not required
• B.A. or higher in fine arts, graphic design, interactive design, or other design-related program
• Strong understanding of best practices related to email designs, responsive UX, and key social platforms
• Expert or advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Sophisticated sense of design with an especially strong eye for layout design and typography
• Portfolio that demonstrates previous visual and interaction design work
• Background in branding and digital marketing
• Familiarity with CSS, HTML and web typography (Typekit etc.) and experience designing for mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Positive manager and team player with clear communication skills
