Talent Acquisition Specialist - Associate
About the Role:
iCapital is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist - Associate to join our Talent Acquisition team in the Lisbon office. This position will be responsible for delivering on all facets of talent acquisition success throughout the organization. We are looking for someone that will seek to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience and will be a trusted partner to our stakeholders. You can expect to recruit for roles at all levels, for our EMEA and APAC locations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all talent acquisition logistics, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, interview scheduling, offer decision coordination, and employment documentation.
- Support senior recruiting team members with admin tasks when needed - scheduling interviews, contracts, hiring documentation.
- Find, engage, and activate passive candidates using alternative search techniques and creative sourcing channels.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates against role requirements and organizational fit.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with candidates, ensuring a clear understanding of their expectations, motivations, and concerns.
- Provide a high‑quality candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment process.
- Regularly track and report pipeline activity to internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to a cost‑effective talent acquisition strategy through creative job postings, networking, industry engagement, and partnerships with professional organizations.
- Provide input on employer branding initiatives across digital channels, including social media and targeted campaigns.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, innovative sourcing tools, and best practices; recommend new approaches to enhance global talent acquisition processes.
- Partner with HR team members to ensure all new hires receive a seamless and best‑in‑class onboarding experience.
- Support broader HR initiatives and projects, including those related to diversity, candidate experience, employee engagement, and process optimization.

Qualifications
- Experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast‑paced or international environment and or Financial Services. Knowledge of the FinTech space a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another business-related field
- At least 2+ years full cycle recruiting experience in technology role.
- Strong sourcing skills, including experience engaging passive talent.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders with professionalism and urgency
- Familiarity with ATS system – Greenhouse , sourcing tools (Linkedin Recruiter), and social recruiting platforms.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
- Fluency in the Portuguese and English language – both written and verbal
We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday.
