Investor Relations LATAM - Associate / Assistant Vice President

About the Role

iCapital is seeking an Associate or Assistant Vice President to join the International Investor Relations team with a dedicated focus on Latin America (LATAM). This individual will play a key leadership role in deepening relationships with clients across the region and driving the overall client experience on the iCapital platform.

The ideal candidate will serve as a senior point of contact for banks, independent brokers, dealers, family offices, and institutions throughout LATAM, guiding them through complex alternative investment processes, influencing strategic outcomes, and partnering closely with internal leaders and external distribution partners.

Responsibilities

  • Lead relationship management for key LATAM client accounts, partnering with regional relationship managers to understand client objectives and deliver a best‑in‑class experience.
  • Serve as an advisory point, providing timely and accurate guidance across a broad range of alternative investment, operational, and platform-related inquiries.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end fund activity, coordinating subscription workflows, fund closings, and client communications to support fundraising efforts for high‑profile managers.
  • Drive client onboarding and platform adoption, partnering closely with Unicorn Strategic Partners and internal cross‑functional teams to ensure new and existing clients receive comprehensive training and hands-on support.
  • Collaborate with the Technology and Product teams to identify platform enhancement opportunities, advocate for client needs, and influence improvements that elevate the overall user experience.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at expanding iCapital’s LATAM footprint, strengthening client engagement, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to more junior team members as needed, contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, ideally in client service or investor relations within alternative investments
  • Fluency in Spanish is required, Portuguese fluency is a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working with high‑net‑worth clients, financial advisors, and fund managers across LATAM
  • Strong understanding of alternative investments and private market fund operations
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts clearly
  • Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of outcomes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems and technologies

 

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $120,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
