Human Resources Business Partner - Associate

We are seeking an Associate, People Partner to join our North America People team. This role is designed to serve as a shared resource across the HR People Partner (HRBP) team, enabling the effectiveness and scale of the function through operational execution, coordination, and consistent support across key HR processes and employee lifecycle activities.

Reporting to the head of the People Partner North America team, this individual will partner closely with People Partners and cross-functional teams to provide support across business groups and team priorities.   This role offers broad exposure to HR practices while building strong executional, analytical, and partnership skills in a fast-paced environment.

This is a high-impact, team-oriented role focused on delivering operational excellence—not direct business partnership ownership. Our ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented HR generalist who is motivated by complex challenges and is comfortable navigating ambiguity. They are a collaborative team player with a client focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

 Responsibilities

Employee Lifecyle & Documentation

  • Lead end-to-end offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews, offboarding communications, summarizing key themes, and HRIS updates.
  • Manage internal mobility logistics across People Partners, Managers, HR Operations, and other relevant internal partners, ensuring accurate and timely tracking Assist with preparation and coordination of employee documents, such as transfers, separations, and other employment changes, including GRA-related materials as applicable.
  • Manage day-to-day immigration case coordination and track case progress in partnership with external counsel and internal HR teams.
  • Maintain documentation of People Partner processes and provide general administrative and coordination support to help ensure consistent execution across the team.

People Partner Enablement

  • Support the execution of company-wide annual HR programs and processes including year-end process preparation, leadership development programs, manager support, calibration activities (e.g., staff planning, talent reviews, performance management processes, year-end compensation, employee surveys, etc.).
  • Support employee relations cases by maintaining organized and accurate documentation and coordinating legal review of performance plans, and related materials.
  • Provide operational support for Performance Improvement Plan processes, including drafting coordination, documentation tracking, milestone follow-up, and partnership with People Partners, managers, Legal, and HR Operations as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day HR ticket system ensuring timely responses to inquiries and partnering cross-functionally as needed.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc reporting, dashboards, and analysis related to employee lifecycle activity, organizational trends, and People Partner team priorities.
  • Support engagement survey administration and follow-up activities, including coordination, tracking themes, and preparing materials to help People Partners translate insights into action.
  • Contribute to initiatives focused on enhancing the overall employee experience.
  • Provide project coordination support across People Partner initiatives, including process improvements, team priorities, and cross-functional efforts that strengthen consistency and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • 2-4 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, operations, or coordinator capacity
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Exceptional communication, relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with HR systems (Dayforce, Lattice) is a plus

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000.  iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
