About the Role

iCapital’s Client Solutions EMEA team is seeking a Vice President (or experienced AVP) to support and accelerate our international growth across the United Kingdom and Nordic markets. This individual will play a key commercial and strategic role in expanding iCapital’s footprint with wealth managers, private banks, independent financial advisors, and family offices.

As a member of the regional team, you will help shape the business development strategy, deepen existing client relationships, and drive new distribution partnerships. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of private markets, wealth management, and financial technology in a fast‑growing, global organization. This position is London‑based.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Client Solutions EMEA team in executing the business development strategy for iCapital, covering Wealth Managers in the United Kingdom and Nordics
  • Develop and manage a robust and sustainable pipeline of prospective Wealth Manager clients.
  • Execute Wealth Manager onboarding process from start to finish, working closely with related teams.
  • Nurture strong relationships with clients and prospects.
  • Educate clients on Private Markets/Alternatives and articulate iCapital’s solutions and capabilities to clients and partners.
  • Provide constant feedback from the field on competitive landscape, investors’ appetite, trends and share with colleagues globally.
  • Build strong internal relationships within iCapital and work closely with other teams (Research & Fund Management, Product Development, Implementation Specialist group, Client Success, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Technology & Operations, etc.) to achieve the best client outcomes and successful long-term client relationships.
  • Serve as the relationship manager and deliver an exceptional client experience for our Wealth Manager clients (i.e. banks, wealth managers, multi-family office and independent financial advisors).

 Candidate Profile 

  • Solid academic credentials in relevant field.
  • 7-10+ years of solid work experience in the Asset or Wealth Management industry, with a demonstrated track record in winning and interacting with clients.
  • Experience as business development professional or similar role in the asset management industry is a must.
  • Strong understanding of the wealth management landscape across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics, with an established network across private banks, wealth managers, independent financial advisors, and family offices.
  • In-depth experience across Private Markets asset classes, combined with a strong grasp of the Wealth Manager distribution model, is strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal/written communication skills, with a professional and positive attitude.
  • Highly collaborative, and able to think strategically about business opportunities and client management.
  • Language skills: Native in English and business proficiency in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong appetite to work in a fast-growing, collaborative environment.

We believe the best ideas and innovation happen when we are together. Employees in this role will work in the office four days, with the flexibility to work remotely one day (Friday).
