Your role and responsibilities

The Senior Workday HCM Solution Architect will lead enterprise-scale implementations and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management. As a key member of our consulting leadership team, you will drive the end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery of HCM solutions that align with organizational strategy and operational excellence.

This role requires deep expertise in HCM architecture, knowledge and certification across multiple modules, configuration, and integrations - with proven experience guiding complex multi-phase deployments across public sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of enterprise-wide Workday HCM solutions.
  • Translate strategic business goals into scalable HR technology solutions.
  • Oversee system configuration, data conversion, integrations, and reporting.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and executive leadership to ensure successful delivery.
  • Serve as trusted advisor on Workday roadmap, release management, and optimization opportunities.
  • Provide leadership to project managers, consultants, and functional leads throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Establish governance, best practices, and quality assurance across projects.
  • Mentor and develop team members, contributing to practice growth and capability building.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Business, HR, or Information Systems (or equivalent).
  • 7+ years of Workday HCM experience including large, global deployments.
  • Deep functional expertise in Core HCM plus two or more modules (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Learning, Payroll, or Time Tracking).
  • Strong understanding of business process frameworks, security, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated leadership in solution architecture or practice management.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Workday HCM certification required; additional module certifications a plus.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
