Warehouse Operations Leader

Introduction

This role is aligned with the Supply Chain Management Career Path. Individual's primary role will be leading the Operations tactical team in Poughkeepsie. This team will consist of Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Assurance, Order Fulfilment.

Your role and responsibilities

• This role is aligned with the Supply Chain Management Career Path. Individual's primary role will be leading the Operations tactical team in Poughkeepsie. This team will consist of Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Assurance, Order Fulfilment.
• The candidate will be responsible to lead this team, through daily operational meetings in order to optimize Poughkeepsie's Manufacturing capabilities. In this role, other duties will include developing a process and communication channel whereas key process measurements are communicated throughout the organization.
• The candidate will also participate, and often lead efforts when any of these key measurements are not at expected levels.
• Strong communication skills will be required, as the candidate will be working closely with not only Poughkeepsie teams, but also with Brand advocates and other IBM sites. Candidate should possess the ability to lead teams through a high pace and dynamic work environment. This will include driving daily Squad team meetings, assuring milestones are met during GA times, and leading follow up actions from the teams.

Required technical and professional expertise

• 2 Years in z-Series Manufacturing or related Operational fields
• Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:
• Project Management Type Skills.
• Ability to Facilitate Operational Meetings.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
