Introduction

We are seeking a well-seasoned Program Manager to lead architecture collaboration in the IBM Java Runtimes and Java Integration organization. In this role, you will be a key member of the leadership team responsible for creating and nurturing a vibrant architect community.

Your role and responsibilities

• Create and nurture a community of architects to serve as the organization's braintrust, championing a unified vision of the organization's portfolio ("one-product experience").
• Promote a culture of collaboration within the organization by fostering connections, encouraging communication, and improving internal alignment.
• Orchestrate an effective change management strategy that identifies, assesses, and plans for change, acting as a guide for the organization.
• Re-establish an architectural board to ensure alignment with the company's overall strategy and direction.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred education

Master's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

Extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on program management.

Experience working with senior/executive-level members of an organization.

Outstanding communication, execution, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in orchestrating and implementing change management strategies.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Advanced degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business.
