Senior SAP FICA Consultant

○ Open Item Management and Clearing Control

○ Correspondence and Withholding Tax

○ Master Data Management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, CI, HCM, SRM, etc.) to resolve integration issues and ensure consistent end-to-end processes.

• Conduct system testing, develop test scenarios, and support UAT and Go-Live activities.

• Perform root cause analysis for recurring or business-critical issues, ensuring timely and permanent resolutions.

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to FICA contract accounting.

• Monitor interfaces, batch jobs, and data flows impacting the FICA module.

• Prepare and deliver training sessions and documentation to end users.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by proposing innovative and efficient SAP FICA solutions aligned with best practices.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and audit requirements.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Minimum Experience: 6 to 7 years of overall SAP experience with at least 6 to 7 years of hands-on SAP FICA configuration and support.

• Must have experience in at least one S/4HANA Support or Greenfield Implementation and migration projects.

• Strong understanding of FICA integration with FICO, SD, and CI modules.

• Familiarity with FQ Events and enhancement techniques to achieve non-standard business requirements.

• Solid knowledge of financial accounting principles, general ledger processes, and banking integrations (BCM, APM, H2H).

• Experience in business process analysis, functional specification documentation, and testing methodologies.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a global delivery model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• SAP Certification in Financials or FICA is highly desirable.

• Strong consulting acumen, including planning, documentation, client communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Working knowledge of Analytics in the context of FICA/FICO.

• Experience in knowledge sharing, mentoring, or team enablement initiatives.
