Senior Managing Consultant SAP FI-CA Lead

Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will play a hands on pivotal role in managing and providing expert level finance process and systems guidance for SAP finance solutions centered in Contract Accounting. You will also be responsible for working across teams to manage resources and interdependencies as required. You will be tasked with challenging situations every day and coordinating high profile projects across multiple teams. You will have the opportunity to interface with a wide variety of other teams across IBM as well as high visibility customers. Candidates should be willing to roll up their sleeves and complete the definition and set-up work required and have a high level of ownership and accountability throughout the entire project life cycle.
As a Senior Manager and Finance team lead, you're expected to provide overall, day-to-day leadership responsibilities for the finance function with responsibilities to include providing expert guidance in SAP finance to client, management of finance team members, managing scope of work and providing high quality though leadership driven results for our clients. This position requires strong leadership, organization and communication skills and significant experience managing design, development & implementation of finance business processes in an SAP environment.
Responsibilities will include SAP FI-CA solution design & configuration, Finance team leadership, team staffing management (client and internal), solution deployment, Schedule management and inter dependencies, Communication, planning, Coordination with other teams (IBM & Client), Deliverable review and submission, Dynamic ability to manage customer/partner requirements and challenges - critical path identification, Risk and Issue Management and Mitigation planning.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Hands on implementation experience for SAP FI-CA solutions, preferably in the Utilities industry.
- Strong understanding and demonstrated experience leading finance teams in SAP transformation programs. 10 years of progressive SAP finance experience.
- Experience with SAP implementation methodology and tools including agile principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop and maintain technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA finance solutions.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with collaboration and teamwork to develop and deliver integrated SAP finance solutions.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Accounting / Finance background preferred, but not required.
- End to End business process design experience in an integrated SAP environment.
- Experience in Utilities industry.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
