SAP Senior Supply Chain Consultant

Your role and responsibilities
As an SAP Supply Chain MM Manager, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Materials Management solutions for clients across diverse industries. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through supply chain transformation initiatives while ensuring alignment between business needs, system capabilities, and best-practice processes. You will oversee project teams, contribute to business development, and drive continuous improvement across SAP supply chain engagements.
Client Engagement & Advisory
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on SAP MM topics, providing strategic guidance and industry best practices.
- Translate business requirements into functional SAP MM designs and ensure solutions meet operational and strategic objectives.
- Lead workshops, process reviews, and solution presentations with senior stakeholders.
- Design, configure, and implement SAP MM functionalities, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Vendor Management, and Logistics Integration.
- Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle activities: blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover planning, and hypercare.
- Ensure integration with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FI/CO, EWM, Ariba, S/4HANA innovations).
- Lead and mentor functional consultants and offshore teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to methodologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage project timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Support knowledge sharing, coaching, and team capability development.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Identify improvement opportunities in supply chain processes and recommend optimization initiatives.
- Support clients in adopting new SAP S/4HANA features and emerging supply chain technologies.

- Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and pre-sales activities for SAP supply chain opportunities.
- Develop reusable assets, methodologies, and frameworks for SAP MM and supply chain transformation projects.
- Stay up to date on SAP innovations, especially S/4HANA, automation, and AI-enabled supply chain functionalities.
Required education
Master's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Strong expertise in SAP MM (Materials Management), including Procurement, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Vendor Evaluation, Invoice Verification, and Logistics Integration.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori apps, new procurement processes, and embedded analytics.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (Plan-Buy-Make-Deliver) and how they integrate with SAP modules such as SD, PP, EWM, FI/CO, and Ariba.
- Proven track record leading SAP implementation or transformation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Spanish

- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions, producing high-quality functional specifications and process documentation.
- Deep knowledge of SAP best practices, deployment methodologies, and governance frameworks within consulting environments.
- Experience participating in or supporting pre-sales, including solutioning, effort estimation, and client presentations.
- Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, including onshore/offshore consultants and client stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and guide business leaders.
